Logo Detector v2

General Information

Purpose: To detect the presence and location of a logo for both catalogue/white background and in the wild/UGC types of imagery.

The taxonomy for v1 contains 72 logo concepts which can be grouped into three categories, based on suggestions from Product and Sales: Automotive, Beverages, and Fashion. The brands chosen for v1 were based on the following criteria:

• Training data availability
• Uniqueness of the logo itself (i.e. purely text logos only need OCR)
• Performance based on final evaluation

Intended Use: Logo detection for automotive, beverage and fashion industries Limitations: Logos outside the specified industries
